The Team
With over 20 years of experience as a video producer, Michael Stakelum brings a wealth of expertise to legal videography through Detective Media. He has been working in video production and marketing since 2006 with lead roles in both corporate video and broadcast television content. In 2014 he started Detective Media with his wife Desiree. As a family team, they bring their experience and creative passions together to offer specialized video services to the legal profession.

Desiree Stakelum
Managing PartnerDesiree Stakelum began her professional career pursuing the field of Speech Therapy leading to a position as a Community Director for HOPE Worldwide. Desiree transitioned into the entertainment industry working for Panavision coordinating camera rentals, production insurance, and expendables. As a managing partner for Detective Media, she directs production interviews as well as manages day to day business operations with Michael. In addition, she homeschools their three children in Dothan, Alabama.
